Inclusion starts with the coach
Tom explores why the coach's own approach and mindset is important in shaping inclusivity.

Inclusion really starts with us as coaches – it’s a mindset before anything else.

We have to be willing to check our own biases and reflect on how they might be showing up in our sessions. It’s about being open to learning, unlearning and constantly evolving in the way we support others.

True inclusivity doesn’t mean we just tolerate differences – it means we celebrate them. We create environments where diversity is not only accepted but embraced, and there every individual feels like they truly belong.

That kind of culture doesn’t happen by accident – it’s built, intentionally, by the coach.
