Enrichment Programme
The idea of the PE based ‘enrichment’ programme is to provide classes or a targeted smaller groups of children sessions to promote an enjoyment of being active.
As well as popular sports like football, basketball and dodgeball we can offer new experiences by delivering sports and games such as Kickball or Pickleball.
The aim of these sessions is to give children the opportunity to play and enjoy a new sport that perhaps is not on the curriculum in a more games based, inclusive environment, focusing more on enjoyment. It has been a great way of engaging less active children as well as enriching children who have SEND.
The programme is suitable for children both in mainstream and special schools.
Mentoring Programme
Our mentoring programme is designed to support children that may be challenging to engage in class and struggling to make academic progress.
A member of our team acts as role model, building relationships with the children they work with and use the power of sport and physical activity to incentivises children to engage in core learning.
The programme is tailored to specific individual targets which can be in conjunction with school interventions and are usually more social, emotional targets to help them with their learning rather than skill based.
This support can take place on a 1:1 basis, but also can involve supporting children in class or at break/lunchtimes.
