One of the most freeing things I’ve learned is to let go of rigid plans. Sure, structure if important, but flexibility is vital in inclusive environments.
Every individual walks into a session with different energy, needs and emotions. Some days, someone might need a quiet corner instead of a football. Another might be bursting with energy and ready to lead a warm-up.
Being flexible doesn’t mean being unprepared – it means being prepared to pivot, to meet people where they’re at. That’s where the magic of inclusive coaching really comes alive.
